Nothing is more magical than viewing life through the eyes of a child. The wonder and magic of it all. To be young or even young at heart gives you a positive perspective in life. You may have heard the term, 'when Life gives you Lemons, make Lemonade' . Meaning instead of being a sourpuss and griping about it, make lemonade and have a nice refreshing drink instead. Drink in the day and your surroundings and the amazing natural beauty of mother Earth.
It may be a crazy day, when you get caught off guard and not prepared for a storm. As adults we look at a snow day and start griping; look at a child and they are grinning from ear to ear as they can hardly wait to get out there and play. So take a snow day and start your day with a "positive glimmer" . You will be amazed.

Knowing your calling in life, your passion, your purpose and especially your natural talent is truly your greatest fortune. Only a handful of people realize their gift early on in life, for most of us it's a journey. We are all born with a gift, whether it be music, mathematics, athletics or even words to name a few. That's where 'do what you love' stems from because it's what feels right.
"The greatest thing about tomorrow is, I will be better than I am today" Tiger Woods - an excellent example of someone who realized their gift early in life, sounds like wise words for us all, just like a Chinese Proverb, in time for the Lunar New Year.
"A nations treasures is in its scholars" being a scholar does not mean you are only learning an academic topic. A student can be described as a learner especially one enrolled in a school or college whereas a scholar denotes a learned person with profound knowledge of any specific subject.
Catch your inspiration by the tail just like Ruth Stone told Elizabeth Gilbert many years ago - and hold on with all your might!

Explore the World, Dream of the Future and Discover your Inner Genius. Individuals are unique and there is no 'one size fits all' solution. There is one thing we all have in common though. When we are not challenged, we get bored. When we are feeling overwhelmed, we need to take a step back. In order to maintain our confidence we need to find the best balance in life that works for us. Goal setting is an on-going project. Start the New Year with attainable #Goals and be sure to include your dreams too! Promise yourself you will write down one goal today. Goals need to be written on paper, in a journal, on a post-it note or even a Vision Board. The key to success is to write it down and hold yourself accountable. Encourage your entire family to set goals now and throughout the year.

The holiday season is magical. It gives us all a reason to act like a child again and have the belief that we are all born with. Believe in yourself and remember that special feeling of anticipation. Treat yourself to a little sugar and snuggle with your children. Sleep in and give yourself permission to take time for your family and friends.
Sometimes it's difficult to put yourself out there, and sometimes you will be surprised about the smile you bring to complete strangers when you beam the spirit of the holidays.

Inspiration comes from within and what inspires one person will be different from others. Look around you, inspiration is everywhere. In Nature, in Family and most of all in Children. What inspires you? What gets you out of bed every morning that you're excited for? What excites you and enlivens your spirit? Most of all, when does that almighty SPARK get lit up?
Today I share inspiration in a few different ways along with a few quotes. Inspiration is not reserved for artists who paint or draw, but is within all of us.

What Picasso meant by that is you are never too young or too old to be inspired and bring joy to yourself and your surroundings and do what you love.

Bullies are an obstacle beyond anyones control, here are some tips and ideas on what may work when faced with a Bully. They take many shapes and are usually hiding behind a mask messing with our mental health. You don't need or want such negative energy in your life, regardless of your age. Whether the bully is in familiar territory or cyber-stalking, I hope this episode will help someone with bullying and know that you are not alone.

Math is Magical and Learning is Fun. It should also be entertaining and inspiring to all of us.
Take the stress out of test taking and timing and enjoy the magic of the only Universal language in the world. It doesn't matter where in the world you live, math is communicated the same way.

Pitch Perfect is a musical talent that only the lucky few are born with. Think Mozart, Chopin and Beethoven. Mariah Carey, Ella Fitzgerald and Michael Jackson. Natural talent!
Music is so important to us all, for various reasons. It defines culture, taste and yes even motivation. I have my favourite jam to get me moving at the gym but I also have a favourite jam for chillin and entertaining.

Since we are all originals, life's journey is to make those great discoveries. When you do, practice on purpose.
Einstein loved the violin so much that he had 10 of them, each called 'Lina', what an interesting term of endearment. He said playing a musical instrument helped him think and process scientific information.
